Hi! just an update on our airgun activities. Five of us tried a field target setup just before the cold weather. We were trying a field target setup to see if we could make it work from the sporting clays stations. It worked out very favorable and we had lot of fun. We will make this another activity for the club. We will start when the weather warms up. The club has given me some money to buy some resettable targets to get a pattern from. I have been busy building these targets. Pic attached. I bought two targets and 2 kite winders with a small amount left to get some angle iron to build more. We have seven being built now and the two bought ones. This will be enough to use one half of the sporting clays stands. If anyone has some 1x1/8 inch angle iron and about a two by 4 foot 5/16 inch plate they would donate. answer on this forum. We could also use someone who could paint the faces to make the targets look more lifelike. Any voluntThese targets are for field target shooting with airguns. Setup in woods. Two targets per station. If you hit the kill zone on target it will fall ,this is a kill and will be one point. You get 2 shots per target but are timed. If you hit the target but not the kill zone you get ) points. FT is shot from a bucket or low stool and with a bipod. bipods cannot be attached to gun. Distances are 10 to 55 yards but we will have one bench rest target at 90 or 100. This will be a bonus target. Kill zones are 3/8 to 1 7/8 inch. but can be placed at any distance. We will tart in the spring. Come join us. I will have an extra gun for someone that might be interested but not wanting to buy a gun before knowing. Any questions, ask on the forum John schardt here is a pic with a little color added

I was to the paintball shop today to get my tank filled with helium. The owner brought out an air venturi Nomad compressor and 90 cubic inch pony tank. Hardly used. 700.00 compressor only 500.00 22 cal fx m1 with good scope hardly used 1500.00 25 cal brocock " " 1200.00 25 cal airforce condor " " 500.00 All prices negociable. If interested call Pentagon Paintball at fairview. These guns can be test fired before making an offer The 25 cals would be good for hunting and 100yd target. I am just relaying this info as a friend to the paintball shop JCS

This forum will be about anything related to airguns. we can discuss Types Springers, PCP's and CO2, Brands to many to mention but AirArms,Umarex,Crossman are just a few. To be a good shooter you must work with your gun, find the best hold, find the most accurate brand and size of pellet, you have to learn how to use holdover and under or how many clicks it takes at each distance and how to read the wind. These are basics we can discuss. If you are interested in getting into airgunning you need to know things like, what is the purpose of the gun, paper punching, field target, long distance or general pesting or just plinking cans. We can show you how to replace springs and seals on springers and general maintenance on the others Lets get this forum going. We have to start somewhere. Ask questions or just introduce yourselves and say what you would like to get out of this forum. JcS
